Student Contract {{ X }} h/week

 

1. Appointment and Program

1.1 This agreement confirms the appointment of LET France

(Hereinafter referred to as “LET”) as the school, academy, or organization with

(Hereinafter referred to as “the student or participant” within the European Union) to provide the agreed EN/FR/ES/DE language course services, in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

 

2. Start and Duration of the Agreement

2.1 This agreement will commence on {{ date }} for a duration of {{ X }} months (x weeks), and will be automatically renewed monthly unless terminated earlier in accordance with clause 8 of the agreement. After this period, it will remain in effect until terminated under the terms of clause 8.

2.2 Once signed and after payment is received, the student's account will be credited with {{ hours }} h/week in the form of 55-minute lessons to learn the EN/FR/ES/DE language for the duration specified in clause 2.1.

 

3. LET's Obligations

LET commits to the student throughout the duration of this agreement:

  1. a) to always protect, anticipate, and promote the student's interests.
  2. b) to always provide a quality and reliable service.
  3. c) to act professionally and loyally in all situations.
  4. d) to fully contribute to the student's development through appropriate teaching.
  5. e) to design and provide quality teaching materials in advance (accessible via the student's individual account on our website).
  6. f) to conduct a free level assessment of 30 min (private lesson) or 10-15 min (group lesson) for each new student according to LET standards.
  7. g) to provide Google Drive access via the LET site to consult all course content at any time.
  8. h) under no circumstances will any refund be possible once the agreement is signed and the course paid.
  9. i) free rescheduling is possible up to {{ hours }} lessons per month, i.e., {{ hours X months }} lessons in total during the term of this agreement.
  10. j) rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours before the lesson start time according to the signed commitment.
  11. k) if reschedulings are not used within the month, they will not be lost but limited to the total maximum provided.
  12. l) beyond the quota, any rescheduling will cost €5 per lesson.
  13. m) if the assigned teacher is unavailable, a substitute will be offered whenever possible.
  14. n) LET will treat all students fairly and equitably in accordance with this agreement.

 

4. Student's Obligations

4.1 The student agrees to the following obligations towards LET during the term of this contract:

  1. a) to provide the required information and documents to complete their registration.
  2. b) to propose at least 3 time slots (days and hours) for lessons.
  3. c) to agree to take a level test before any lesson booking.
  4. d) not to miss scheduled lessons without valid reason (proof required in exceptional circumstances).
  5. e) to notify LET of any absence at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, otherwise payment is forfeited.
  6. f) to connect on time, or at the latest 15 minutes after the start. Beyond that, access is denied and the lesson is counted.
  7. g) if late (max 15 min), the lesson ends at the scheduled time – maximum 40 minutes of actual lesson time.
  8. h) to follow the teacher's instructions seriously.
  9. i) to respect other participants.
  10. j) to encourage and include other students to participate as well.
  11. k) to log in to the LET portal to access lesson links and documents.
  12. l) to accept a substitute teacher as mentioned in clause 3.1.m.
  13. m) to be responsible for their classroom setup, including:
  1. - a reliable device (computer, tablet, etc.) with webcam and microphone – phone only in emergencies.
  2. - a good internet connection.
  3. - a quiet environment.
  1. n) if criteria are not met, access to the lesson may be denied.

 

5. Student Approval

5.1 The term “written approval” in this contract means the student's written approval.

5.2 The student must inform LET in writing of any changes occurring during the contract term.

5.3 LET cannot be held responsible for delays or cancellations related to external factors such as internet connection issues on the student’s or teacher’s side, or videoconference platform malfunctions.

 

6. Fees to be Paid

6.1 Administrative fees, excluding VAT, related to database management and administrative time in the EU, amount to a flat fee of €25, payable in a single payment.

6.2 Educational fees, excluding VAT, are {{ € X par heure }} (55 min), for a language session with a qualified, native, and experienced teacher subcontracted by LET. The rate is {{ fee }} according to the chosen package (monthly payment / 3-6-12 month commitment) for {{ hours }}h/week.

 

7. Payment Terms

7.1 The €25 administrative fee will be invoiced via the LET website or by email and must be paid in full before registration.

7.2 The first educational fees (minimum {{ total hours }} full hours) will be invoiced by email or via the site and must be paid at the same time as the administrative fees.

7.3 This written approval must be signed and the minimum payment fully made before starting the program.

 

8. Termination

8.1 This contract may be terminated by the student at any time after an initial period of three months (no refund is possible for plans longer than 3 months).

8.2 If payment is not made according to clause 6.2, the student will not have access to lessons. In case of non-payment 14 days after written notice, LET may terminate the contract immediately.

8.3 LET may immediately terminate the contract if the participant breaches clauses 4.1 d-e-f.

8.4 Both parties may terminate immediately in case of:

  1. a) serious uncorrected breach of contract (see clause 8.2);
  2. b) unforeseen circumstances leading to insolvency.

 

9. Legal

9.1 This contract is exclusively subject to British law and can only be contested under it.

9.2 This contract is strictly personal. The agreed services are intended solely for the beneficiary; any unauthorized use may result in legal action under British law.

 

10. Data Protection Act 2018
  1. a) Our Commitment to You

LET is committed to protecting your privacy. The information provided is accessible only by authorized LET staff. Any breach will result in immediate contract termination. No data will be shared with third parties.

  1. b) Use of Your Personal Information

Your personal data is used only for the requested services. This includes payments. Bank details will never be used for other purposes.
